Open daily through November 1! Kitsap’s first living and tallest corn maze. Gather the clues to solve the riddle and you’ll be entered to win a harvest gift basket. Visit the farm in October to pick out your favorite pumpkin from a variety of types. Warty or white, too big to carry or just right for small fingers, perfect for carving, eating, and photo opportunities.

Suyematsu & Bentryn Family Farms (Bainbridge Island)
Located at 9229 NE Day Road, the pumpkin patch opens September 27, 2025! Enjoy a wide variety of pumpkins, gourds, winter squash, and fall décor essentials like ornamental corn, corn stalks, autumn bouquets, and U-cut dahlias. Fresh local produce, tractor rides, and the popular Kiddie Hay Maze make it a fun outing for all ages—and friendly, leashed dogs are welcome too!

Winney Farm (Bainbridge Island)
Winney Farm on Bainbridge Island offers the only corn maze in Kitsap County—plus a pumpkin patch and Fun Zone for all ages to enjoy. Open daily, visitors can explore the maze and Fun Zone for $5 per person ($20 per family) with pumpkin purchase, or $10 per person ($40 per family) without. Sunday highlights include hay rides every half hour from 12–3 p.m. and a special family deal for $50 that includes a hay ride, maze access, Fun Zone entry, and one pumpkin. Please note, pets are not allowed due to livestock guardian dogs on site.

Fat Turnip Farms (Kingston)
Visit in October for pumpkins galore! Big pumpkins, small pumpkins, white pumpkins – pick your favorites. Perfect for carving, painting, or catapulting. You’ll also find mountains of gourds for fall and Thanksgiving decorations.

Fall Festivals & Celebrations in Kitsap County

Poulsbo Beer Run
The Poulsbo Beer Run takes place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, benefiting the Blue Star Banner Program. This 4.1-mile fun run/walk starts and ends at your choice of six stops—including four breweries, one ciderhouse, and a bonus stop—where participants enjoy a tasting of 5 beers, 1 wine, 1 cider, plus a Space City donut. Early registration is $50 (rising to $60 after September 6) and includes a custom PBR bib, all drinks, a finisher’s prize, and optional bib personalization if registered by September 18. The first 25 registrants receive a “Stayin ‘n Playin Poulsbo” goodie bag. The event is limited to 1,600 participants, with packages and registration available in advance or on the day of the run.

Cider Swig (Gig Harbor)
The 12th annual Cider Swig returns on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12–5 PM at LeMay – America’s Car Museum, celebrating Pacific Northwest cider, community, and sustainability. As Washington’s largest one-day cider festival, it features over 130 regional ciders and related beverages, live music, award-winning food trucks, artisan vendors, and fun competitions—including the 7th annual Battle of the Pies. Each ticket includes a tasting glass, six drink tickets, and access to all festival activities, with proceeds benefiting environmental education and restoration grants in the KGI watershed. Family-friendly areas are available, though the cider garden is limited to guests 21 and over.

Scarecrow Festival (Gig Harbor)
The annual Scarecrow Festival returns this fall (Saturday October 4 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm) offering fun for the whole family with pumpkin launches, a petting zoo, live music, and entertainment. Visitors can also enjoy local food vendors and a business market, making it a full day of autumn activities—all at this free event!

Trunkival at Peninsula Bible Fellowship
Trunkival is a fun, carnival-style event for kids on Sunday, October 5, from 2:30–4:30 PM at Peninsula Bible Fellowship. With over 40 games, giant inflatables, corn dogs, cotton candy, and cool prizes, kids can play, earn tickets, and redeem them for prizes. The event is free, and kid-friendly costumes are welcome but optional.

Bainbridge Gardens Pumpkin Walk
The Pumpkin Walk 2025 at Bainbridge Gardens runs October 1–31 (Mon–Sat 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Sun 10:00 AM–4:00 PM) and offers a free, family-friendly fall experience. Visitors can stroll the historic Nature Trail to see hundreds of hand-decorated pumpkins, themed vignettes, and photo areas, with contributions from staff, local kids, and the community. Additional fun includes a mini straw maze for little ones, Saturday food trucks, and candy. Donations are welcome, benefiting the Bainbridge Island Boys and Girls Club, making it a festive Halloween tradition for all ages.

Harvest Fest at Miracle Ranch (Port Orchard)
Harvest Fest at Miracle Ranch is the quintessential family-friendly fall outing, offering fun for all ages on six days in October:

  • Fridays: October 17 and 24, 12 PM – 6 PM
  • Saturdays: October 18 and 25, 10 AM – 6 PM
  • Sundays: October 19 and 26, 12 PM – 6 PM

Join us for a full day of fall activities including hay wagon rides, face painting, a petting zoo, hay maze, canoeing/boating, archery, arts & crafts, carnival games, rodeo, old-time apple press, climbing wall, pumpkin chucking, pony rides, paintball, dirt bike rides, and more! Admission is free, and pets are not allowed.

Harvest Party at Central Kitsap Presbyterian Church
Our annual harvest party is here! Join us September 20, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00 for fall fun for the entire family. We’ll have tractor rides, face painting, crafts, games, and even chickens to enjoy.

Haunted Hayride at Battle Point Park (Bainbridge Island)
The Haunted Hayride returns to Battle Point Park on October 21–23, 2025, offering three nights of Halloween fun. Visitors can start at Boo Boulevard, a festive walkway with booths, activities, and entertainment for all ages, before boarding the Haunted Hayride for a thrilling evening under the night sky. This popular event sells out annually, so tickets are recommended in advance.

Kitsap Live Steamers Ghost Train
The Kitsap Ghost Train returns on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM, benefiting the Western Washington Center for the Performing Arts. The 10–15 minute train ride features spooky displays along the track and is suitable for all ages, though very young children should ride with a responsible adult. Tickets are available online, and attendees are encouraged to listen to the safety message before departure. The Bloedel Reserve Squash Hunt (Bainbridge Island)
The Bloedel Reserve Squash Hunt runs October 1–31, 2025, offering a family-friendly fall experience amid the reserve’s vibrant autumn trails. Visitors can pick up a map and search for decorative squash throughout the gardens, while young explorers use a Passport booklet to create nature rubbings at each display. Additional fun includes hay bale climbs at the Sheep Sheds, pumpkin tic-tac-toe or checkers, and hot beverages and snacks from The H&S Coffee Cottage. Special pumpkin painting events on October 1 (1–4 PM) and October 4 (10 AM–1 PM) let participants enter the Pumpkin Contest, with voting starting October 7. All activities are included with admission, and timed tickets are recommended.

New Life Kids Halloween Carnival
The North Kitsap Kids Halloween Carnival takes place on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 1015 NE Hostmark St, Poulsbo, WA, from 8:40 AM to 1 PM. Kids of all ages are invited to attend the NewLife NK gatherings at 8:40 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:20 AM, dressed in their favorite costumes, for a fun-filled event featuring games, arts & crafts, and plenty of candy.

Enchanted Moon Gathering – Bushel & Barrel Ciderhouse
The 5th Annual Enchanted Moon Gathering takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 6:00–9:00 PM at a transformed ciderhouse in Poulsbo. Guests are invited to dress in magical attire and enjoy a family-friendly evening filled with a spooky photoshoot, a handcrafted Witch’s Bell activity, Witch’s Brew drinks (non-alcoholic options available), a glowing bonfire, tarot readings, and access to metaphysical vendors. Tickets are $25 and include all activities, making it a perfect night for witches, magical mischief, and enchanted fun for all ages, including pets and little witches-in-training.

Port Gamble Ghost Walk Tours
The Port Gamble Historic Museum Guided Tour takes place at 32400 North Rainier Avenue, Port Gamble, WA and offers a three-hour exploration of one of Washington State’s oldest towns. Participants will visit the Museum, Community Center, Cemetery, and the Walker-Ames Mansion while learning about the area’s history and paranormal tales with Paranormal Pete. The tour is $35 per person, reservations are required, and is open to ages 16 and up. Guests should bring a flashlight and dress appropriately for the weather.

Día de los Muertos Community Celebrations – Bainbridge Island Museum of Art
The Día de los Muertos Community Celebrations 2025 take place on Saturday, November 1, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM at BIMA, Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. The event features two ceremonies led by Alice Mendoza at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM (free tickets required), beginning with joyful butterfly processions from KiDiMu. Guests can explore a colorful multi-paneled ofrenda by artist Araceli Cruz, add mementos honoring loved ones, enjoy live music, traditional face painting, art activities, and samples of champurrado and pan de muerto. Activities take place throughout the museum’s galleries and courtyards, offering a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of Mexican heritage and the tradition of honoring ancestors.

Kitsap Halloween Bash – Bremerton Fairgrounds
Bring the whole family to a FREE, all-ages Halloween celebration at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1:00–5:00 PM. Enjoy outdoor Trunk or Treat and live music, then head inside for a DJ-led dance party. This family-friendly, walk-through event is sponsored by local commissioners, and live updates are available on the event’s Facebook page.

Bay Street Ghost Hunt – Port Orchard
The Bay Street Ghost Hunt 2025 takes place Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26, in downtown Port Orchard. This three-day, family-friendly event invites participants to pick up a Ghost Hunt Bingo card at any participating merchant, find all nine hidden Bay Street Ghosts, and collect stamps and treats along the way. Completed cards can be dropped off at the library to receive a limited edition Bay Street Ghost Hunt 2025 pin and a chance to win one of three Halloween/Harvest-themed baskets. The weekend also features additional activities including the Halloween Charm Walk, Nightmare Alley at Polaris Theatre, a Haunted Market inside Gathered, and Pictures with a Witch at the Sidney Gallery.

Trick-or-Tree Glow-in-the-Dark Candy Egg Hunt – Poulsbo, WA
Trick or Tree 2025
at Olmsted Tree Farms (17526 Clear Creek Rd NW, Poulsbo, WA) is a family-friendly Halloween event perfect for kids under 13, running nightly with pre-purchased tickets required. Guests will hunt thousands of candy- and toy-filled eggs hidden in the Christmas tree field after sunset, with three golden egg winners each night. Before the hunt, enjoy a family stage show, DJ music, The Great Candy Grab, climbing hay towers, yard games, bonfires, and food from the Snack Shack. Brave families can explore the Spooky Woods, featuring fun haunted elements without gore. Check-in begins at 5:30 PM, entertainment at 7:15 PM, and the egg hunt with Spooky Woods starts at 7:45 PM. Tickets are $31.99 for children 3+, $16.99 for adults, and free for children 2 and under. Pets are not allowed.

Haunted Heronswood – Kingston, WA
Haunted Heronswood takes place on Friday, October 17, and Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 5:00–9:00 PM at Heronswood Garden (7530 288th St., Kingston, WA). This all-ages, family-friendly event features a spooky walk through the gardens with trick-or-treat stations, Halloween decorations, and an event tent serving drinks and treats. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for kids 7–17, and free for children under 7. Limited free tickets are available for PGST members through the Youth Center, and certain Heronswood Garden members (Sponsor, Enthusiast, Patron) receive complimentary entry. Parking is limited, but a shuttle from Point Casino is available.

Halloween on the Farm (Merry Meadows Farm in Poulsbo) takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 PM at 10373 Royal Valley Rd NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370. No reservations are needed. Tickets are $15 per child, including 2 pony rides, a bounce house, crafts, barrel train rides, animal viewing, s’mores, popcorn, costume raffle, and face painting. Foster families attend free, and LD families are $10 per child. Add-ons include pumpkin painting for $5 and chips, water, or soda for $2. Guests should use Paulson Road for GPS directions, not Waaga Way.

Halloween Trick-or-Treat Events in Kitsap County

Halloween: Poulsbo Trick or Treat (“Ghoulsbo”)
On October 31, 2025, Historic Downtown Poulsbo will host a safe and festive Halloween celebration from 4:00–6:00 PM. Kids can enjoy live music while trick-or-treating from local merchants, with Front Street closed to traffic for their safety. Ghosts, goblins, and witches are encouraged to come dressed in costume for this fun, family-friendly event.

Halloween: Bremerton’s Trick or Treat Street
Bremerton’s Trick-Or-Treat Street 2025 returns on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 5:00–7:30 PM at Quincy Square & Pacific Street (409 Pacific Ave, Bremerton, WA). This free, family-friendly event invites everyone to enjoy a safe and festive Halloween evening in the heart of Downtown Bremerton. Kids can trick-or-treat, enjoy spooky fun, and celebrate in the brand-new Quincy Square.

Halloween: Bainbridge Island’s Downtown Halloween Walk
The Bainbridge Island Halloween Walk (Hometown Halloween) takes place on Friday, October 31, 2025, in downtown Bainbridge Island. Winslow Way will close at 3:30 PM for a safe, family-friendly trick-or-treating event featuring spooky fun, music from the Eagle Harbor Church bell tower, free hot cider, and a chance to vote for the best merchant costume. Free trick-or-treat bags are available at the Downtown Association office before Halloween and at the cider booth on the event evening.

Kiwanis Halloween Carnival (Kingston)
This is a free family-friendly Halloween Carnival happening on October 31st, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Village Green Community Center. The event is sponsored by Greater Kingston Kiwanis Club and features various Halloween-themed games including Zombie Cookie Walk, Creepy Cornhole, Coffin Dice, Spider Chase, Tic Tac Bonez, Ghost Bowling, and Go Fish, with candy prizes available. There will also be audience participation with a “Haunted” Story Telling activity suitable for all ages.

Pre-School Halloween Spooktacular – Poulsbo
The Halloween Spooktacular hosted by Poulsbo Parks and Recreation takes place on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 3:30–5:00 PM at 19540 Front St (Mailing: 200 NE Moe Street), Poulsbo, WA. This free, family-friendly event is designed for preschoolers and features a cupcake walk, gymnasium carnival, take-home crafts, and prizes with candy for all. Guests are also encouraged to participate in a food drive benefiting NK Fishline by donating canned or non-perishable items.

Children’s Halloween Carnival (Hansville)
For Hansville residents only, please. This is a Fall Carnival happening on October 29th, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greater Hansville Community Center, located at 6778 Buck Lake Road. The event is being held two days before Halloween and features a “spooktacular” carnival atmosphere with various activities, including a costume contest, face painting, glitter tattoos, games, and snacks.

TRUNK – or – TREAT at North Kitsap Baptist Church (Poulsbo)
Themed car trunks and indoor carnival games where kids can earn candy. You can also grab a free hot dog, a bag of chips, and a bottle of water for a quick dinner. Stop by the photo booth and get a photo with your costumed trunk or treaters!

Trunk or Treat at North Point Church in Poulsbo takes place on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 4:00–6:00 PM in the church parking lot and foyer. This family-friendly event welcomes all ages to enjoy decorated trunks, candy, cotton candy, popcorn, and community fellowship in a safe and festive Halloween setting.

Halloween Hullabaloo & Trunk or Treat at Bayside Church in Kingston, WA, takes place on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM at 25992 Barber Cut Off Road NE. This family-friendly event features Trunk or Treat, free refreshments, games, and plenty of fun for all ages. Guests interested in participating with a decorated trunk can sign up in advance.
