DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Auction on Bainbridge Island is the largest rummage sale you’ll ever visit! Volunteers transform Woodward Middle School into a truly massive collection of donated furniture\, cars and boats\, clothes\, electronics\, tools and equipment\, camping and recreation\, baby gear\, and more. The auction and rummage sale typically begins with a “mad dash” — and shoppers can even enjoy lunch along the way. The sale is so big that they offer a preview night the evening before it opens. It’s a fun event you won’t want to miss! \n\n\n\nIn addition to offering great deals on thousands of items\, the rummage sale is for a good cause! 100% of the net proceeds from the Rotary Auction & Rummage Sale are reinvested in the community for special grants\, projects\, and scholarships.

DESCRIPTION:Whaling Days is a free\, family-oriented annual festival held in Silverdale\, WA. It takes place in the last full weekend of July each year. This 3-day festival includes a grand parade\, a fireworks show\, a rubber duck race\, canoe races and foot races\, street vendors and live music\, a beer and wine garden\, and all kinds of entertainment. \nWhaling Days also gives back to the community by donating proceeds to local charities and scholarships for Central Kitsap School District.
